Lottery Hongkong – Free Air Tickets to Hong Kong

Lottery Hongkong is a lottery game organized by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), which also runs horse racing, one of the world’s most popular spectator sports. It works just like any other lottery – players pick six numbers from 1 to 49, and if they get all six correct, they win the jackpot prize. The first prize is HK$80 million. The HKJC also offers prizes for winning numbers in other prize levels.

The HKJC is one of the biggest tax payers in the city, and it contributes to many areas of life such as sport, healthy living, opportunities, entertainment, education and culture and helping and volunteering. It is also one of the largest donors to charity with donations reaching over HK$20 billion over the past decade.

In order to boost tourism, the HKJC is giving away free air tickets for travelers from around the world to visit the city. The campaign starts March 1, with people able to enter the flight ticket lottery online at the World of Winners international airport page. The first batch of free air tickets will go to Southeast Asian residents, and then the contest will open up for people in mainland China until April 1. The final phase opens May 1 for people in the rest of the world.

The former Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed lottery service provider REXLot Holdings and its directors face disciplinary action from the bourse for breach of director duties and non-disclosure of financial assistance provided to the company. The disciplinary proceedings also concern the company’s published financial statements, which were “materially misstated”.
